Airsoft snipers are some of the most powerful products in the game, but to use them effectively, the right ammunition is needed. Unlike other types of rounds, sniper BBs must weigh more and be more durable. Good airsoft rifles can handle the additional weight without being harmed, but any regular AEG gun or lower would likely be damaged by rounds above .25g.
We have gotten a lot of new CYMA brand products in recently, which has been very exciting. This brand is known for its affordable rifles as well as one of the most successful electric airsoft pistols. Their new airsoft rifles are incredibly versatile, and the first one I would like to examine is the CYMA CM057 AK SVD AEG. The actual title is quite long, including descriptive elements such as a full metal body with metal gear, authentic wooden stock and handle, and removable cheek rest, but the key point is its an AK-47 based rifle. It has a longer and sleeker appearance than a normal AK-47 though, and this is one of the elements that separates it from the rest of the pack.
Condor is one of the best producers of airsoft tactical gear around, and East Coast Airsoft is very close to solidifying a long partnership with the brand. Condor produces a wide variety of tactical gear products, including one of their most popular, the Condor Chest Rig. One thing that is sure about that product is you will never run out of any key materials, as the rig is large enough to hold whatever you need, far more than a regular tactical vest. It can be carried by one member of a team, who can resupply other team members.
Until now, the best option for getting a heavy machine gun was the Classic Army CA249. Although expensive, this is perhaps the most powerful airsoft gun in existence, with unparalleled power, capacity, range, and speed. If you can afford it along with the drum mag, you will likely never lose a game again. But for those who are interested in the alternatives, and one that is slightly cheaper, than look no further than the Echo1 Rifle Dynamics HMG. This is almost as good as the Para but slightly less expensive. And when it comes down to practical functionality, they are basically the same. However, it is important to be aware of the HMG’s features to decide if it’s right for you.
I personally have a great love for gas airsoft pistols, because I’ve personally used one to overcome multiple opponents with automatic electric rifles. Of course, that was a long time ago and quite an amateur game, so it’s not as incredibly impressive as it sounds, but it did demonstrate that gas pistols really do have a lot of power. And when a good one comes along at a great price, it is usually wise to take advantage of it. That is the case with the Elite Force 1911 Tac; a plated, upgraded 1911 that is realistic in every sense of the word and extremely powerful.
We here at East Coast Airsoft are always looking for new ways to improve the realism of airsoft. After all, that is what the sport is about – recreating the intensity of military and law enforcement situations. While hopefully none of us will actually be involved in a truly violent encounter, we all know that healthily simulating such endeavors is a remarkably effective way to get exercise as well as a respect for those who really are on the front lines. To that end, we bring you the Lancer Tactical Bayonet, a fine piece of airsoft craftsmanship designed to improve the realism of your games.
The Paracord is a unique accessory that many people are not familiar, at least not in an airsoft context. Paracords, as the name implies, were originally used as the suspension lines in parachutes. When soldiers landed, they could cut those suspension lines and use the resulting “paracords” for other general purpose tasks. These uses include building shelter (by tying branches and other ground materials together), making a sling or splint for injured limbs or fingers, creating traps (for animals or people), and even starting fires. The paracord is a very useful tool that no soldier should go without, and now it is making its way onto the airsoft scene.
It’s not often that I write about a type of magazine, but the Full Metal M9 CO2 mag is one of the finest pieces I’ve ever come across. It fits across all types of HCA-199 model guns that run on carbon dioxide. As you may know, CO2 is one of the most powerful types of propellants on the market, and utilizing an airsoft gun that uses CO2 is a great way to give yourself an advantage in any game. The package for this product also comes with a wrench for making adjustments.
It’s rare that you come across a truly superb airsoft sniper rifle that is not highly priced. That’s not to say there is no value in premium airsoft snipers, and when you pay a lot for a sniper, you are definitely getting a great value in the end. But if you are trying to save money and still want a quality product, then the CYMA APS SR-2 Bolt Action Sniper is for you. This product is packed with features and at only $100 is one of the most affordable snipers we have.
Sometimes it is easy to forget that beauty can mean a lot in airsoft, and there are truly some well-crafted, classic pieces out there. One of them is the new DBoys Bolt Action Kar 98 Mauser Carbine, a WWII style rifle. It is one of the mos beautiful new items we’ve acquired in awhile, and we are passing the great opportunity to own this product onto you!
